What is the BCSLA?

Formerly known as the BCRCA (British Columbia Retirement Communities Association), “the BC Seniors Living Association provides advocacy, leadership and networking opportunities for its members. BCSLA members are committed to innovation, resident choice, and excellence in the seniors living industry.” It was created by people within the retirement industry who did not feel there was adequate representation for the industry as a whole in British Columbia.

Membership in the BCSLA is voluntary and extends to owners, managers and suppliers within the industry. They advocate on a government level, are part of a provincial task force to create a self-regulatory system for the industry, organize educational opportunities & educate the public.

Their Vision is "To inspire, support and advocate for members of the senior living industry."
